Flag lowering on the green is at ten minutes before six o'clock. Then rush to the dining hall for dinner! There is never a dull evening at Keystone. After supper we sometimes have team games, or we have evening entertainment in the Pavilion. Are we on the stage for Newspaper Fashion Show? We might be in the Gym for Dutch Auction. Is it Talent Night? Lip Sync, anyone? Whatever it is, fun is guaranteed!
Sometimes we have a Saturday night dance with a nearby boys' camp. Camp High Rocks or Camp Carolina are some of our dancing partners.
Every Sunday night we all gather at our campfire circle to sing Keystone songs and receive any of the awards we may have earned during the week.
After the evening program, we gather at the Lodge for milk and cookies. Then, we circle up and all the campers and staff sing Taps on the green at 8:30 p.m. With a rousing "goodnight" to all, it is up to the cabin you go, and my does that bed feel good.
